Work has not stopped on that project that I know of. I'm by on average only one a week, but there have always been workers on site when I go by.

Is there any news on the bridge that goes across the tracks? And is this the thread to be looking for that news?
And now that Urbancorp is not involved in construction would it be correct to assume the quality of the build will be better?

No recent news that I have heard regarding the bridge, but I believe that City Planning does want it to happen (but no word from the 2 Councillors offices involved that I have heard). Yes, this would be the thread for the bridge as well as the development of the same name.

Delivery to whom? All condo purchases here were cancelled, with it becoming a rental development.

Urbancorp sold the residential portion long ago to an apartment REIT transforming this to the current rental project. Brookfield Multiplex is the new general contractor that recently took over for Urbancorp. Of course there are deadlines.

Any idea what the timeline should be for completion?? I bought into Fuzion and move in next month. Curious to know if I'll be staring at a quiet construction site for a long time. 160,000 sqft of retail will be great as it's across the street! What retail do you guys think will occupy? I really hope the bridge gets built but from what I read that will cost over 100 million and there is no specific money flowing from the city in the short term.

The bridge won't cost anywhere near $100 million*, and the Planning Department do want it, so it's being designed into 99 Sudbury on the other side of the tracks. Not sure of it's just First Capital and the developer of 99 Sudbury which will be paying for it, or if funds will also be coming from other developments' Section 37 agreements in the area.

Retail? They're planning on a supermarket taking up pretty much all of the lower level. Not sure how many shops and restos on the upper level.

* The Puente de Luz at CityPlace, which is about twice the length of this one, cost just a bit over $8 million I believe.
