Looks like there's a little notch in the tower halfway up on the right side, by the "Step 2" logo.

I noticed that too. I assumed though that if it was anything significant it would have played more prominently in the render. Not like it matters anyway..

Folks, clearly you failed to read my update in my original post. The project is being redesigned--as per CoTP requirements--I'm expecting significant changes.....

Just because its being redesigned doesn't mean we can't critique the preliminary render that has been made available to us. Likewise, just because they may have to change the massing and you 'expect' significant changes doesn't mean there actually will be in the basic design of the facade. But for once I hope your right.

Absolutely, I think there's a thread buried somewhere about ridiculous condo names... "Upside Down" condo, "Beyond the Sea", "Malibu", "Love", "South Beach"... ick!

Aside from like an "Uptown Residences", ROCP, Murano, Casa, Aura at College Park, etc, some are just plain dumb... Even addresses sound better (and some sound REALLY good when they're easy to remember... Like One St. Thomas, or One Bloor, or 300 Front Street West, etc....

U condos is pretty dumb. L tower i'm not a huge fan of either, though it's 100x better than Karma!

But IMO, the best names/classiest ones are Trump International Hotel and Tower, Residences at the Ritz Carlton, etc... the one's that have 5 star hotel names in them!!!

Shouldn't that historic house be on the right side of the tower given that it's to the right of the parking lot now? Are they planning to move it?

I wonder if there will be people enjoying their after work martinis on their balconies in their west-facing units, the ones facing 25 Grenville's east-facing concrete wall ? Maybe that's where those 277 square footers will be positioned, the ones the overseas investors will snap up like there's no tomorrow ?

If you look at the floor plans, you will notice that there no balconies facing West -- only facing North & South. Bedroom windows do face that wall.

Yes, you are right. 277 sq.ft unit faces wall. They do not have any balcony.

277 sq.ft - seriously, who lives in these units - human beings or pets?

Are there no balconies facing East because of the future project by Canderel Stoneridge (the RBC bank)?
