Toronto Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I remember there being a doc that colour-coded Stages 1-3 (or 4?). Might have been for the design portion of the terminal.

There was a phasing plan for the terminal portion of the project in the competition booklet submitted by KPMB/West 8:

It was something more like this but I remember it detailed the new totem pole lights they'd put in with a breakdown of the continuing phases. Anyways, was more just curious to see what's next!

Is there still a plan to buy new ferries aND any idea when? At some point, new federal policies cut capacities of the existing ferries in half. I don't know if that was rescinded in the meantime either.

I believe there's a tender out for new ferry options, but I can't recall where I saw that or what the timing is (super helpful, I know).

Interesting stuff. Thanks for posting. The private ⛴ service is interesting.

It's in the works, but they're doing some extra due diligence on the designs of the new vessels.

They already have approval in the capital budget for 3 of 4 replacement vessels. The boats date 1930s to 1962. They were all purchased by TTC, when TTC ran the ferries. Politically, there will never be a physical link.
