I sorely miss the Bathurst Bowlerama (and I am terrible in bowling). It is so close to where I live.
Nowadays, the nearest bowling alley for me is Playtime Bowl near Dufferin and Orfus (and a good third of its publicly accessible space is used for a video arcade with redemption games).
Bowling is a dying pastime.

Bathurst Bowlerama was one of the last remaining old school bowling alleys in Toronto before it bit the dust.
It just cannot compete with the likes of the Ballroom or the nearby Playtime Bowl.

That sprandrel at the top... Oy gevalt! The contrast between the black mullions and the lighter grey spandrel makes it look way too busy. Using black anodized aluminum siding (or even just black sprandrel glass) would give it a more unified look.
