This will be a real boon for the area. The condos at Dupont & Lansdowne have helped a lot but a project this size is needed to re-create the feel of the entire neighborhood which was rundown for decades.

An LCBO employee told me yesterday that their Galleria Mall location would be closing in June and move to the Dufferin mall. The closest place to get booze in the area will then be the Food Basics at the base of Fuse Condos - and the neighbourhood breweries of course.
Also, interior alterations have started. The snack place by the Dollarama has now been dismantled, and some temporary walls have been put up to allow for the relocation of the gym (I think). Sorry no pics, I had too much stuff to carry.

Yongehurst Distillery just off Geary Avenue does excellent rum, gin , triple sec, vodka, shochu and other liqueurs

Dear god, that is the blandest name for a project ever. “Galleria” is even the blandest name for a MALL, ever. Is it in Jersey City? Is it in Burnaby? Who knows! What you do know is you’re in store for some mediocre shopping.
