Looks like that could be for Phase 3, which has been creatively marketed as Galleria 03. From what I recollect after attending some past community meetings and sales events, that may be situated at the eastern edge of the whole site for the SW corner of Dufferin & Dupont.

Got a rendering from an email by PSR Brokerage, who sell the project on behalf of ELAD. The design looks to have been dulled down significantly.

Nothing was ever confirmed re: the diagonals. Latest drawings don't have them. I'm not really stressed - if a builder isn't going to commit to a flourish, I'd rather they don't include it at all, rather than half ass it down the line.

Also, the balcony railings are projected to be metal, not glass. So that's nice:

I don't remember seeing this rendering before and wow the streetwall along Dupont is going to be quite significant! The bend in the street makes it even more dynamic too.

The strong podium certainly does anchor the corner at Dufferin & Dupont quite formidably, especially being clad in stone. Which is important as this will be its most noticeable point IMO and act as a gateway into the new community. Being an HPA project I feel more comfortable about it now.

This has certainly piqued my interest now. The top reminds me of a lite version of Woodwards 43 in Vancouver.
