Oh dear. How is this going to be done by December?
Although they haven't publicly stated it, the TYSSE planners have given up hope that this station and 407 station will open in time. However, they do fully expect to have the trains operating and generating revenue by December. The trains simply won't stop at those two stations.

Taken June 10. I've given up hope that this will be done by December:

But they're doing some landscaping, so that's nice

Never worked or even been to a construction site, have you? That blue/green insulation can be covered with siding in less than a week. The dirt can be landscaped in a week as well (trees already planted).

They probably have bigger problems than that otherwise they would've gotten er' done by now.

Don't know exactly what the problem is but Finch West is holding up the whole line from what the documents seem to show:
http://www.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Com...tion_Measures_at_Finch_West_Station_A27_1.pdf

Despite recent actions and efforts made by TYSSE in supporting Bondfield in securingimproved performance, the outcome has not resulted in the necessary level of improvement to support the program schedule. TYSSE continues to meet with Bondfield and evaluate implementation of further mitigation methods related to selected critical work activities at the Finch West Station. Details are provided in the Confidential Attachment.

I wasnt talking about the insulation, I'm talking about the overall state of the site and Bondfield as a whole. We've seen this game from them before, and we know the end result in most cases.

Bondfield's new slogan: "We display incompetence once project after another"

It's more like "We don't like to pay any of our vendors but give us your product right now!".
