February 25: Well, as of this morning, the Saxon Developments web site is still up - however when a Google search is done, the associated information block on the right hand side of the page showing the map location of the Saxon office (197 Spadina, Suite 500) has a 'Temporarily Closed' flag.
The address sounded familiar - it turns out that Suite 500 is a shared office space from which a number of smaller businesses are operating. Of note are the architects for this project, KFA, and of YAD Investments. Yad Investments and KFA are the developers and architects respectively for the King Adelaide Centre project:
Notable for its absence was any mention of Saxon Developments, either on the directory at the Suite 500 entrance, or on the main ground floor entrance directory - gone from both.
So - no further insight as to the exact status of the Eleven-11 Clarkson project, presumably some form of receivership, but at this point Saxon Developments appears to be gone completely.
