The precast panels are decidedly less board formed than initially depicted, but it looks nice. I hope the future condo corp lets them weather a bit as they're quite creamy looking currently. Will be a great area once this, Monza and the two Canderel projects are complete.

They're referring to the textured patterning on the precast panels, and how it resembles the design motifs of some buildings with the Brutalist architectural style.
The Medical Sciences Building at U of T comes to mind:

It feels a tad Yorkville-ish for my liking - I would have preferred brick - but it has a good scale and meets the street fairly well.

So it appears they are working on 9th. Then the roof? I thought they started 9th floor end of July but maybe I was wrong.
