There are certain threads like this one where I would appreciate if all posts were moderated before being made public. 99% of the posts in here are either rumours or ill-informed complaining. If you want actual facts and news, you have to wade through many pages before coming across a quasi factual string of text.
Theres a reason theres 1700 pages on the crosstown
1500 of them are debating the value of at-grade transit. and whether this transit will be sucessful or not a debate that was settled over 13 years ago

If youre only here for the news you would have a better time of it just reading the MX newsletter.

There was a dog and pony show at science centre today. You can tell by the fancy brand new jackets that they were armchair engineers or consultants.

Inactivity on the thread would be superior to spreading unsubstantiated rumours, or rehashing the same debates about the chosen form of the project, as though there is anyone left on the forum open to having their opinion swayed.
You need to add threads that get derail by off topic's that should be in other threads, I am guilty at times doing that when replying to a posting since there is no thread for it. I have moved some of my replies to the correct thread.

On my last 2 trips along the east end this year, I haven't seen no one at any stations or on the line as well no LRV's running.

At this time, this thread should be quite unless someone is seeing work being done or real up to date info as to the line. It got to the point I stop clicking threads as its a waste of time.

As for fancy brand new jackets, they need to be replaced from time to time due to age and not standing out.

I follow this thread and the Ontario line thread for any pictures that people post of updates, as i am not traveling to all the station sites frequently

Since I live far away, how often do trains get tested these days? At least in other cities like Ottawa and Montreal, a sign that things were approaching the final phase is seeing test trains all the time, at near real frequencies.
