So, apparently, updated renderings for this project do exist. UT project database has outdated renderings from Richmond Architects, while updated ones can be found on Zeidler project page, which are close to what is being built in real life. The main differences are the 5th floor balconies, the podium section between the two towers, and the commercial building.

Trying to challenge Missie for 3rd best city/GTA skyline (North York a solid number 2). Moses Znaimer was quoted a long time ago about the adrenaline rush of seeing the city from the Humber bend on the way to work... when Palace Pier x 2 were the only talls. Pretty much lost that view and gained (cold climate) mini-Miami. Useless trivia.
 
I think Yonge and Eglinton might also be in the bronze medal race for best GTA Skyline. (That’s if you don’t consider Yonge-Bloor as a separate skyline.) Yonge Eglinton looks more like a downtown from a distance.

I am not sure I would concede the silver medal to North York, however. It may have the lengthiest collection of high rises but it looks like a table top for the most part. It’s tallest structure, Hullmark, is not as lofty nor as architecturally interesting as the taller structures in the other skylines, IMO. Hullmark vs. “Marilyn,” for example? The Olympic judges are marking their scorecards for “artistic impression” but the result seems obvious. Nor does North York have the striking lakeside location of HBS. Then when you consider present and upcoming construction on the other sites ... North York is getting reeled in from behind pretty rapidly by fresher runners. And isn’t that Vaughan coming from way behind?

I made the shot below with this exact thought in mind. There are angles from which HBS looks like a mini downtown, and then there are angles like this, where there is no skyline to speak of, just a bunch of sparsely spaced needle-towers poking up into the sky:

Kraft Bakery site needs to be built out completely before this area becomes a genuine skyline.
