15 years ago you wouldn't see women wearing tights/yoga pants without at least a long top covering their "butts" in the workplace. Those days are long gone. Fashion is much more casual now. I remember the days you needed to wear dress pants and dress shoes to the night club "No jeans" "No sneakers".

The living fossil know as the dress shirt still reigns supreme for men in the office though, even with jeans and sneakers.

Checked out the abercrombie today, it's much smaller and more open than before. Looks like they carry less items or it's just spread out differently. Also there's no big "sale" section like before. So many they are focusing on full price product now.

Online shopping made it possible for Abercrombie and Fitch to display fewer items.

For now maybe, particularly in certain industries, but it's gradually changing, and that's good. Why should one be forced to wear a monkey suit? Clothes have no bearing on one's capabilities or talents.
