15+ Litewave trucks at Bay and Wellington., a large spool of fibre, a small excavator, and a few maintenance covers open and some patching in the trucks and lots of head scratching.
Emergency repair so I hear. Ouch. I assume a few are not happy today. Not sure who. .

I had to take some items to my store across the street last night (around 9:30) and there were several Roger’s trucks working in the same location.

Apple Maps has updated its 3D satellite maps in Toronto and beyond. Previous images came from around late 2017, until about a week ago I’d see the Air Canada logo on the arena and an empty site across Bay St. Now the models look like Fall 2022, slightly more up to date than the google ones actually!

Fun notable new highlights from a quick look around the updated maps:
  • Lots of new buildings in Liberty Village, Corktown, Regent Park, Mississauga City Centre
  • The One at ~10 stories, The Well topped out
  • No more Logan Ave Gardiner exit
  • Busy Eglinton West TBM launch site
  • Great Autumn colours up the Don Valley

I thought the megaphone was a little loud from 600m away.
Then yesterday I zoomed in on the picture and saw a truck with a full concert sound stage set-up.
The guy was complaining about Trudeau and the cost of his dinner at the King Edward on Friday night, among other things.
He didn’t mention anything about the cost of security for this protest.

Yeah, always avoid random streams of consciousness when representing something so serious... /sigh
