I thought those steel girders were the unearthed previous site foundations, or is that new construction? I assumed any new below grade construction would be concrete.

These are from the east, looking west across the site.

Asked workers on site if they were bottomed-out and ready to head up, was told 'yes', ' on the western side, but more digging to come on the eastern side.

Holy moly!

If they've already reached bottom on the western end of the site, I can see those P-Levels start forming by early next year, if not sooner once they finish the east side.
 
Logo installation? You can't see it in the photo, but there is a splash of red just behind the swing stage.

I saw a large new CIBC logo sitting on the side of the QEW in Mississauga this morning on a flatbed truck - perhaps it was for here? It looked too small for the top of the tower though. We'll see.

Looks like it. They've already installed the new CIBC logo atop 2 Bloor West IIRC, so they seem to be in full swing with rolling this out across multiple properties,
