If it is a mirror of the southern tower, that looks like a double tower, perhaps with 2 elevator cores, does this tower have just the one? Are those diagonal beams meant to hold up the weight of the entire curtain wall or transfer loads to the core?

The core looks like it's starting to pick up the slack.

yeah but like always, they're getting through the tough stuff right now. Once it's gets past like 30 or 40 meters, they'll start flying through floors.
Hopefully yeah. We're about or slightly ahead of where Phase One was back in the October/November of 2018.

Phase One: October 19, 2018

The core of the first phase toped out a year later around October/November of 2019. The steel topped out six months later around May 2020 and interior work continued well into the Summer of 2020. Looks like it will be a tight timeframe to complete this, though things will speed up considerably over the next year.

For me it's all about the exterior, once that's complete it's done in my books...lol.

What matters for me is the mid-block connection reopening, which is a nice cut through from Union to the Esplanade. Hopefully we don't have to wait for the end of 2024 for that, though I wouldn't be surprised if we did..

At least it will come with a PATH connection to east of Yonge St now!
