Technically that gives them until Dec 21, so they have a couple months for it to open and still be Fall (even though no one thinks of December as "Fall")

I would say that, with covid as a handy excuse for everything, the park will open in spring 2022.

Dear Neighbours,

We continue to make significant progress in constructing the foundation for the new building at 141 Bay Street. During our next phase of work, we will be working with contractors hired by the City of Toronto to connect the building’s pumping system to the storm sewers under Yonge Street. This work, which has been scheduled in coordination with the City, will occur in two stages:

• From the evening of Friday, October 22nd through Sunday, October 24th the City’s contractor will be working continuously to set up a vertical shaft in the street. This shaft will enable the City contractor to start tunneling activities required to install the sanitary water connection under the street. At the direction of the City of Toronto, this work will be taking place over the weekend, including overnight, in order to minimize the impact to traffic on Yonge Street.
• From the evening of Monday, October 25th, the City’s contractor will be working overnight only to complete the connection below Yonge Street, as per the direction of the City of Toronto. This work will occur overnight, between the working hours of 8PM – 6AM. Crews will work as quickly as possible to complete this work, which on average takes anywhere from one to three weeks to complete tied to the complexity of the work required to complete the task, which includes underground tunnelling. Steel plates will be placed overtop of the tunnelling work at the end of each shift to enable Yonge Street to remain completely open during the daytime hours.
