Anyone know when they plan to complete the partial demolition of the Yonge St. underpass? It's supposed to daylight a good chunk of the underpass, but I imagine it will involve closing Yonge St for a month or two to do it.

I assume that as it's only about connecting the Path further east, there won't be much urgency to it. Not like the rest of the construction of the tower depends on it.

Never noticed the way the clear glass frames that cavernous mechanical room when backlit at night. Amazing shot!

Thanks! - yeah the mech looks interesting with outer edge of that glass being framed. The low lights pointing up make a nice gradient upwards too

As far as I know, they will open soon. I just moved a bunch of equipment from Commerce Court to CIBC Square at work so should be soon...
