Ecco le foto del Venerdì Santo oggi!

Westside story: They poured concrete into the core on Thursday so we may get a lift early this week coming. They also poured two more floors of concrete which caused them to lift up the curtains.

You may also notice 3 blue cylindrical posts/tubes at ground level in the southwest corner. These will eventually be attached to the outside steel frame as crane supports are removed from the core. They have already replaced the support beams on crane#1 which is out of my view. They've been having problems with the steel beam that will be the attachment point, welders have been working on it all week. You can see this beam adjacent to where the old supports that were removed two weeks ago and by the raised curtains next to the crane#2

Eastside Story: They've been clearing the concrete between the core and crane#3 and crane#4. Some new steelwork may happen this week to begin enclosing the maintenance floor, on level 3

A closer look in the northeastern section shows progress on formwork to complete level 3 floor. and progress on the eastern wall

Is it just me, or is this building not actually as big as the renders made it look?

Go stand on Bay across the street from it and you'll see how massive it actually is.
