All the old floor joists have been reclaimed and will be made into furniture by these guys

Though the last line in their FB post is a total eye-roller:

A few weeks ago we walked into Jilly's, a Toronto landmark turned strip club in the 1970's at Queen/Broadview and asked for the site supervisor. We struck a deal for us to acquire and salvage all of the floor joists to make reclaimed wood furniture. After closing a couple years ago we are extremely lucky for Jilly's to be giving us wood again!

The exterior doesn't look a whole lot different from how it looked when Drum shot it in May, but here it is, yesterday:

Thanks for the update! I wonder if the assembly hall on the second floor will be brought back or will it be chopped up into rooms. Would make a great events space.

Good to see the windows favouring a view of the park to the north. How often do we ignore the landscape in our architecture here? Often! Glad to see it's not the case here.
