PS: Next door to me when growing up, the neighbours had this fantastic black lab called Molson whom we loved… so I'll always see this new Leslieville brewery as Molson's.

Former contract brewer Longslice Brewery are a partner in The Aviary Brewpub in Corktown (Canary District) and have some brewing facilities and retail on site.

Black Lab opening on Eastern near Rorschach this fall. Blog TO article is wrong, they won't be focussing on Old World styles, the head brewer just likes them.

I went to Rorschach recently and discovered they don't know what the hell they are doing with food.
We ordered the "loaded nachos" which was $30.00 and allegedly enough for four as an appetizer. What came out of the kitchen was bizarre. It was a long rectangular plate, about the size of a full-size desktop computer keyboard. This was clearly not enough for four, but the odd part was the placement of the toppings. They were what was listed on the menu, but they put each topping in a separate piles horizontally across the plate. There was a pile of diced tomatoes. a pile of shredded lettuce, a pile of pulled pork, a pile of guacamole, a pile of shredded cheese, a pile of refried beans, etc...
This is not how "loaded nachos" work. It was like getting nachos at the Ikea restaurant: "some assembly required."

Nicely fills in the gap between Saulter Street and Radical Road.
Google Maps shows Hogtown Brewery at 262 Carlaw, just north of Queen. Their website says a new brewpub will be opening up. No dates or actual location yet.
