So many times I got "this bike doesn't exist" last weekend.
Hate when this happens! Or just some random error. Almost always fixed by using the card.

True, but I find it quicker to just get the card out of my wallet. If you do encounter a bike with the QR scratched off you can still log into the mobile website and retrieve a code.
I'm paranoid of someone stealing my wallet and stealing a bike.True, but I find it quicker to just get the card out of my wallet.
A friend of mine inadvertantly left their bikeshare outside of a TPL location for like two hours one time. Fretted that someone had stolen the bike and taken off with it. When we got back to the location the bike was still just sitting there untouched.I'm paranoid of someone stealing my wallet and stealing a bike.![]()
Via an X post by Observing The City:
"Bike share revenue is up 30% compared to last year, and now has 300k unique customers. That is 10% of the population of Toronto! I also think that their forecasts are a little pessimistic pinn ofing 2025 rides at 8.1 million. I forecast closer to 8.3M when the year is over."

What was the holdup? I thought they were getting ahead of things last fall.Imagine what those numbers would look like if they actually had the entire year expansion in place by July 1st, as the promised last fall.
I would project this year's numbers would have been 10% better.
