Glade to see I am not the only one who feels that way...

Not sure why it's taking so long, do you think they are waiting to get the south tower topped off then switch their manpower to star tower?

I am very much liking the curved (south) face of these buildings ...

Particularly liking this photo from AMB, it shows the project off very well:

Some nice scenery pics from 34th floor of Tower 2 taken at the topping off party in early December.

I just finally got to see these in person yesterday driving in on the Gardiner... Absolutely love the roof treatments and set back on the upper portion. I think they are a dynamic and well balanced massing. these buildings (will) make a stunning impact on the Lakeshore West skyline. I wish that more buildings would make some sort of artistic impression with their rooflines. Flat topped buildings just seem blah in comparison.

Being that this project is located beyond the sea, I mean beside the lake, the peaked roofs are to read as sails. I suppose that can be considered a gimmick, but I don't think I'd line up those responsible before a firing squad.

I don't mind the roof design here, especially compared to the vulgarity of other rooftop designs, such as NY Towers to state the obvious example.
