Indeed - and Etobicoke's waterfront skyline will only be that much more impressive in a few years when many more towers pop up!

Yeah crazy..add the 15-18 proposed/approved towers including the 200+ meter E.d.S. going up in the same vicinity, and its going to create a huge visual impact:cool:

Some of the retail is being occupied:

From what I gathered, one will be a restaurant with 30 seats or less (building permit), a Hasty Market and a Real Estate office.

The big vents in the spires should have been better integrated into the architecture. They detract from the interesting sculptural look of the spires, but if you see these towers from the waterfront to the south, the spires look great. They're angled northward with intricate and attractive framing exposed. I don't know if it's the final look, but they look like they're designed to be seen from the south for the main facade. Yet the view from the north is visible to many people, so the massive vents are unfortunate.

More or less agreed.

BTS is an incredibly attractive complex viewed from the lake or west. The curve of the facade coupled with the interesting details on the spires really makes an impact. I wouldn't put much thought into the views of the north side as they are, for the most, hidden. With the addition of the new condos north of it, you won't even see it, unless coming down the Gardiner. Even then, from a distance, the vents are invisible.

I never understood the criticisms of this project. I thought it was quite well executed actually...

Hasty Market will be the first unit to open in the next few months.

The sales office is open for the next site.

You can see this project miles away and a nice addition to the skyline. Not a square box, thankful.

Lots more up on site: Look what behind the last 2 photos as I didn't notice it while shooting.
