At first I thought this was just a new parking structure but it appears to be more than that. While the parking garage has been completed and occupied, another structure is progressing. This site is immediately north of the Kaneff proposal at 2300 Confederation Parkway

April 2nd.

A 10-storey purpose-built rental by Canahahns.

Site plan was submitted in 2019 under the address 150 Paisley Blvd W.

Various minor variances were applied for throughout 2020-2022, with the most recent in Novemeber 2022.

In February 2023, the committee voted on a by-law to authorize the execution of an Off-Site Parking Agreement.

Permits have been issued.

No visuals that I could find, if anyone has better luck please post them in this thread and the database page will be updated!

It is progressing so rapidly because just like the parking structure it is assembled from prefabricated pieces. No underground excavation and no rebar or forms to erect.

This little Mississauga rental looks like a higher quality (because it lacks back-painted spandrel) and warmer (thanks to the color) version of the Quay House that Empire/Kirkor are inflicting on the downtown waterfront.
