Toronto The Barrington Condos | 61.57m | 18s | Goldman Group | Richmond Architects

It’s unbelievable how many condominium campaigns don’t have a copywriter who knows how to use an apostrophe.

Given the massing sketch on the development proposal notice, what would happen to the four-floor OSSTF/CUPE 4400/Da Best Bakery office building. It is included as part of the sketch and now appears to be five floors, unless that was mere sloppyness.

Sloppiness. The OSSTF building is staying put. They developer tried to buy it, but they low balled them so much they said forget it.

As an ex-Brit the use of British imagery to sell housing to Canadians is bizarre to put it mildly. Is this going to have creaky floorboards, no insulation, and plumbing that doesn't work just like in England??? It's about as absurd as using Russian imagery to sell cars to the Germans.

It's partly due to Canadian housing needing to withstand the rigours of the climate here, but Canadian housing standards/building technology is decades ahead of what exists in the UK. Canadians live in vastly better housing. What's next, Canadian dental clinics advertising that they can make your teeth look as good as a typical Englishman?

That reminds of something funny I saw in London, at a friend's apartment. On one side of the living-room was a tiny room that contained a toilet but to wash your hands (or take a shower) you had to open the door, walk across the room, open another door, that contained a small sink and a rather small shower. I fount it quite strange and unsanitary, to have to open doors to get to a sink and wash your hands. The British have some really crazy layouts in their homes.

They painted a pretty cool mural on the hoarding a couple of weeks ago:
At the end, you can see a shoring rig on site.
