Work seemed pretty steady here in April and May. In June and July though, it hasn't been quite so momentous.

A bit more than a month later, and work has been continuous, if not quick. From the 17th, circumnavigating the site across 270°:

While the commercial building has been coming together, it looks like they may have just started to move earth for the phase 1 condo. This might be something else however, I'm not certain…

Thanks for the pics. Will be great for this neighbourhood to finally get back a grocery store.

Has anyone heard about Phase 2? Seems like quite a while between Phase 1 selling out and Phase 2 sales. Normally you want to keep the sales momentum.

More progress from the past few days:

Along with the bricks that are now being applied, work is progressing on the new internal road network. While the scaffold over the Stephen Dive sidewalk is up, there's no work going on for the Phase 1 condo yet.

From a couple of days ago…

The north wall has been moved forward so that work can go ahead on condo #1:

Quite a bit of brick up on the commercial building now.

Other bits and pieces making it ready to close-in from the weather soon:

… and then today, the pile driver was hammering in I-beams for the first condo phase.

At dusk today. More shoring, more brick, and the first course of windows on the second floor, south side (last photo) look like they are back-painted glass spandrel.

From yesterday and earlier today. With the windows going in and the brick being laid, I'm thinking this is looking pretty promising. One pic zooms in on bird-friendly frit on the windows.

That is promising! The commercial building has a bit of the look of a converted-to-retail 1920s-era factory or warehouse already.
