Toronto Backstage On The Esplanade | 116.73m | 36s | Cityzen | P + S / IBI

Some of the parking has been in service for the L Tower for the last month.

I guess the low height was not to spoil the upper levels of the L Tower view. I wish that tower was taller than it is now.

The Construction Website now refers to Backstage as: "This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for February 28 – March 7, 2015. "

Time to change the civic address on thread title, I guess!
 
I think 1 Esplanade is underrated and compliments the L Tower very nicely. It's not an ugly sister by any means.

No, no it's not. Unflattering photos don't help. In reality it looks awesome with the L Tower and London on The Esplanade and the flatiron building. The view of this bunch from Berczy Park is great. The differences of each one compliments the other.

Not sure what you are even looking at. The design and materials used for Backstage is top notch. Very gutsy and bold to even build here. The Esplanade looks far more complete now, and once the landscaping is finished will be a very cool street.

So, no, you are wrong.
