It's quite interesting that if you look at all those little storefront buildings along Yonge Street, almost none have any architectural value. Yet taken together, they create a streetscape more interesting than the Modernist wall of glass that adorns many a contemporary condo.
Those older buildings along the entire strip are the most vibrant thing about NYCC
