On another note, back to the underground "Shops at Aura"...

They seem to be trying to liven up the space by putting decals all over the walls and doors downstairs. The colour is definitely welcome.

I noticed this today when walking around down there. Not sure what else they're working on, but the food court is completely closed off right now and full of scaffolding and drop sheets.

Yup! 34th floor.

Thanks for the pics. I noticed that they've made a lot of small improvements to the underground recently. I'm anticipating that foot traffic will increase significantly once the food court is open.

it is just like the PATH, they need to be closed. they could have used a better door though.. those look like fire escape doors.

Unfortunate thing is, those decals look like afterthoughts. It's like someone--a planner or developer of some sort--walked down there and went, 'my God' and then promptly ordered the decals be put up.

Of course they're an afterthought, but they do improve the sterility of the underground and at least it's an indication that they're not averse to spending a little bit of change to spruce the place up.
