My understanding is that the whole waterfront promenade (from Yonge eastward, at least) is supposed to get a wooden deck extension with various piers (this is based off of Waterfront Toronto plans). However, I haven't heard anything about timing or guaranteeing it will happen (though I desperately hope it does).

"The Waves" was a better name, IMO. Starting every phase with "Aqua" is getting a bit tired I think. Looking forward to this phase of the project though!

I think a shout out to Arthur Erickson (rip) may be for his (long ago) contribution to west Queens Quay. Modest height, terracing down to grade, embracing the sun/water.... perhaps a reference that was considered given East Bayfront's evolution (particularly the last 3 Aqua-whatevers). AquaLuna could be the star of the show if executed well.
