I agree. Very disappointing. We need to push for exciting, innovative, and energy-efficient design and oppose more mediocrity. Mediocrity attracts mediocrity and lowers all standards including the people who "buy in" and become our neighbours. The Azul development is a good example. Ask yourself what that development contributed to our neighbourhood. These developments serve as precedents for what is aspired to and allowed going forward. Unless people come out and speak up, we will be forced to accept yet another situation where the Developers (who are only interested in profit) decide how our neigborhoods look and function.
