88 Scott Update
Demolition of the buildings that currently occupy the 88 Scott site is now underway. While the planning and interior work has been ongoing for many months, we're thrilled to provide you with a few snapshots of some of the work currently underway - visual confirmation that the first step in the process of building your new home at 88 Scott has begun!

We're committed to doing things right - and to prioritizing the greater good of our communities and our environment in all that we do. At 88 Scott, we'll be carefully removing, retaining and reusing the existing limestone character façade that currently graces this remarkable site to create a truly unique podium for 88 Scott. Well it isn't fake. Not that I think Apple has any intention of moving in here, it just begs the question of why one would include a (crappily executed) Apple logo in the rendering. I certainly am not giving it much thought, simply stating that fans of the company often like to speculate on these sort of things. Nobody is calling anyone stupid here...
It's just a cheap stunt by the renderfolk, maybe directed to do it by a cheeseball ad agency. Apple likely would not be impressed.

Apple would most likely want to design it's own flagship store AKA the base of the building for 88 Scott.
The point is that Apple has no designs on this building whatsoever.

RAW design has done the same thing with harmony village in barrie but we will see no such thing.

Or, at the very least, if they did they would swear the developer to secrecy (and ditto for One Bloor). The fact that these renders exist make it less likely that Apple will be building a store here, since any actual Apple partner would know that such stunts are prohibited.

Looks like they're well on their way with the demo of the building, hopefully they keep the momentum going.
