Beyond the precast sections of the facade, this project is a mundane window wall tower that looks quite boring from any angles where the precast sections are obscured by other buildings. Hopefully, the top will add visual interest with its series of setbacks.
 
The precast panels on 88 Scott and the porcelain panels on Backstage seem to compliment each other nicely.

The concrete podium on this building is amazing. I know that it's old and has been refurbished, but I think it says something about the timelessness of well done concrete versus the ephemeral aesthetics of pre-fab concrete.

All you have to do is compare the podium to the rest of the building. The difference in quality of concrete is striking.

This is why Chicago and NYC have so much timeless architecture. Real thought and hard work was put into pouring and shaping that concrete.

It's not concrete. I think its limestone.
