So that's indicating plans for a slightly taller conjoined East-West double building mid-block, and then something twice the height (60 storeys or so) in the southeast corner of the site on Queen. It doesn't look like there's must much park space in the plan - if any.

I can see the Conjoined ones seeing some issues with floorplate sizes.

Also, if you look at the first couple of seconds of the video, you can see a small park tucked in behind the podium of the building currently launching in sales.

Yes. That's a lot of density with very little public realm benefit. I can't see the city approving the development as the video portrays it.

Retail Insider is reporting that a grocery store would be located in the base of the first of the towers here, with about 80,000 square feet of retail proposed across the whole development. The grocery store would put many more people within a 500 metre walk, a distance that a University of Alberta study recommends for convenience.

Supposedly tower one will be 29 storeys high with 421 suites "with completion anticipated for September 2018", so there's that for a laugh.

It would be great to see the design work divided up among a couple of different firms. The idea of P+S being given the entire block does not fill me with confidence. Does anyone know if Gensler is still involved?

We have a number of new renderings in the dataBase file now, linked above, which have a close-up on the podium, the lobby, suite interiors, and the pool terrace on the roof of the podium for 88 North. The dataBase file now also includes the first blurb from the developer with further details of the project.

Meanwhile, not in the dataBase file yet are the following two renderings which cover the base of the building planned for Queen Street itself, and the laneway heading north through the site. EDIT: Renderings and architecture by P+S, landscape design by Claude Cormier. Have a look:
