To be fair it says rent starts at the equivalent of $710/month. That's not exactly expensive for new construction housing, even if it is undoubtedly in shared accommodations. A similar facility in Toronto would probably command well north of $1,000.
The white cladding here brings a nice infusion of brightness to the area if you ask me.
I would argue that the worst part of this UK building is the different shades of brown right beside all the primary colours. It would look much better if those were either black or white. My idea of adding a pop of colour is to create contrast, not necessarily making every building a rainbow.
