Just in case anyone is interested to know, the travelodge on bathurst and king was bought by tridel. They will of course be building a condo on the site.

Well this info comes from a friend who works for tridel. He told me that it was bought by them and they will be annoucing the building design and suites within the next couple of weeks. Maybe he is wrong but he seemed pretty certain.

are you sure your Tridel friend wasn't talking about the aloft+Element Hotel site at 560 Front Street West which they bought recently ... rather than the Travelodge on King site ??
