As part of current Yonge Street North Planning Study to become Secondary Plan:
- Beecroft Rd to be extended north of Drewry/Cummer to southern border of CentrePointMall and then to Steeles when Mall is redeveloped
- Doris north Extension difficult due to meandering roads in Silverview neighbourhood between Finch Hydro Corridor and Cummer,.... but CityPlanning seriously discussing it now! I suspect having Doris North cut through Silverview community and Dumont Rd is option favoured by City Planning while the Doris North going around Silverview Community and then mid-block is the option favoured by Cllr Filion's office - to protect one of his favoured Ratepayers Groups and leaving less room for redevelopment
