I too wish to applaud the podium effort here. It's got a nice scale, massed as though to appear as 3 distinct buildings brings a more human scale to things, but I'm especially a fan of the cornice-like feature
tying in to the heritage facade and bringing some visual interest as it divides the second and third levels.

The colour palate at the podium level is warm, but not garish, and detailing on the 3rd floor windows is also especially laudable.
