I'm going to go out on a limb and place the blame on Plaza.

For what? Nothing built yet. And I think Ivory On Adelaide turned out quite well.

Ivory is OK. HP has a strong track record when it comes down to good design, Plaza doesn't.

I really liked the curve Windows on this proposal. It would of complimented the Hyatt hotel beside it. Too many square like buildings!

Hyatt isn't long for this world (thank goodness). That's a two tower site. Can't be making much money compared to the land value. Anyways it was bought in 2005 by King Street Enterprises Ltd. for $107,000,000.

I don't think I'd call even their less-than-great stuff a 'dud'. Ivory and 2 St. Thomas come immediately to mind but am I missing any?

Vu is actually not bad. When the builder elects to value engineer the hell out of the design, is it the architect's fault? Even Ivory started out looking quite good but the builder didn't use the best materials.

I think I'd call Pinnacle on Adelaide a dud, but again, that probably has a lot to do with the client. The misses are few and far between.

True. Dud isn't fair when you include the likes of G+C, etc, etc, etc.

2 St Thomas and 100 Yorkville are two that I feel some mediocre firms could have pulled off on their best day.
