Cityzen Cherry Street Project (Foster/Bruce Kuwabara/Peter Clewes)

So it looks like we're getting our first Foster from Cityzen on Cherry Street. I'm not sure if there is already a thread for this, but here's the proof:

We're working feverishly on our upcoming Cherry Street development with Norman Foster from London firm Foster + Partners. We've paired him with two acclaimed local architects, Bruce Kuwabara and Peter Klewes, from Architects Alliance to further the development process.

Also, who is Peter 'Klewes?' And for that matter, what is 'Architects Alliance' and when did Bruce leave KPMB to work for them?

(Pretty pitiful for Sam not to know who his architects are and for which firm they each respectively work).

Oh, come on... Crignano writes out the name of Clewes's firm as it's pronounced rather than use the poncey architectsAlliance formatting, gets a single letter wrong in his name, and demonstrates that he—like 90% of people writing on the internet—can't use commas properly, and you assume he doesn't know who his architects are and for which firm they each respectively work?

There are posters on this board for whom conjugating verbs is an alien art that we all bite our lips and struggle through comprehending, but now we're suddenly incapable of cutting people some pretty minimal slack for imperfections on a blog?

I noticed that too. I think it's actually makes him look pretty clueless. If you are going to make big pronouncements like that, you better know your facts or you blow your credibility fast.
 
Well, there is nothing in the piece that suggest gross factual errors - it can however use some proper editing. The Portlands talk is downright weird, but it's a developer, hyperbole is to be expected - and besides, stretching things a bit with regards to location/neighbourhoods has always been in the game.

For all we know he could have dictated the message for an assistant to transcribe; a common practice among lawyers and business people. Notice that all the mistakes are matters of punctuation or spelling that can easily be explained if someone else was transcribing his words.
 
This was a monthly newsletter. Misspelled names is one thing, but when people ask Bruce Kuwabara why he split the partnership of KPMB to work for aA, he might disagree that this was a small oversight.
 
Poor corporate communication. Misspelling a name and confusing participating companies is a significant failing.
