Sidewalks still need a little bit of work. I like the fact the building is set back from the road allowing for sidewalk widening. There are little studs on the crosswalk at Rawlinson and Roehampton which is a very nice touch seeing as students at Northern often cross there.
I hope that the sidewalk on Rawlinson is widened more. Otherwise, this street is going to look really good once trees mature.

Overall I must say that this project changes the feel of the block completely. The building itself is a good contrast of styles with the 50s style apartment blocs, but the updating of the public realm here is well done and makes walking between these buildings to cut through the bloc a pleasure rather than a hassle.
I hope Midtown in Focus looks at ways of connecting these midblock walkways better with Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton so everyone can actively walk by rather than just local residents.
The rec centre is complete and is open to tenants. Landscaping updates in front of the other two rental buildings belonging to the same property management is also being done now.
The landscaping and sidewalks seemed to be complete last time I walked through here.
Anyway, there are two database files for this project, 299 Roehampton and 305 Roehampton. I'm guessing it is a result of a glitch in the site conversion?

What should be done is to improve the mid-block pedestrian connections between Eglinton and Roehampton. The connection should also extend all the way to Mt. Pleasant, which is currently fenced off by this (and the adjacent) building.
