I haven't posted new images in a while, but work has been steadily progressing. They are now on P1 and approaching ground level. Crew has not come in today as work to install new water mains on Merton is expected to start anytime,

How are cranes lifted when the building height increases? It's not like they can just add additional pieces underneath.

How are cranes lifted when the building height increases? It's not like they can just add additional pieces underneath.

The building itself supports the crane load. It basically 'rides' the building up as new floors are constructed.
