Toronto 260 Adelaide West | 196.8m | 61s | CentreCourt | Sweeny &Co

Just read about Tory's announcement. Unnamed developer will build condos and affordable housing on the site of the fire hall. The fire hall will be relocated to Metro Hall.

@HousingNowTO noted that the developer is Centrecourt.

456 market rate + 196 affordable units - that's a lot of units for a single tower (or will there be more than one?). Looks like it may break the Entertainment District 156 -157 m tabletop. 60+ stories would be my guess.

Photo below shows the firehall, and 254 Adelaide on the right hand side, which is apparently CentreCourt's contribution in terms of landholdings.

I dont know how owning a sliver adjacent to the Firehall gets you exclusive JV development rights with Create TO but it's good to get this rolling and I love seeing Centrecourt involved. I'm certain the bar owner purchased the block to the north of Rock N' Horse/Dublin Calling (there is a City lane between the bar and 26 Duncan) so this could potentially orphan the soft site to the east without them getting creative.
