Wish this was rentals (and fast-tracked approval lol)... would love to see shovels in the ground for (yet another) HPA beauty before it's bi-focal time. 👓

If you look back at the previous page, as recently as March, the City was considering an offer from Kingsett to sell; but it would appear, the City and Kingsett were not in alignment on price.

I don't know the status of those discussions, if any, at the moment.

Of course, were the City to buy, it is by no means a given that this would be built with HP design. I think that would depend, in part, on whether this was meant to be a Vienna-style mixed income building or straight RGI.

If the latter, the HP design would not likely survive here.

Don't forget to see "Developers Behaving Badly" and "Hoarding Wars", both playing back to back episodes before it. :)

It'll be great to see this area intensify later on, as this stretch of Sherbourne could use the investment.
 
There is a lot of really nice architecture along sherbourne that is not appreciated, it would be nice to get better attention and cleanup. The red brick would fit in nicely and might add a little “freshness” to the immediate area. The immediate communities could benefit from a bit more economic diversity.
 
I’m no expert, but after following a few KingSett threads, my understanding is this will never be built in its current form.

Probably a safe bet..........

But this makes me want to loop in UT's architectural historian @ProjectEnd

Because I was to flip the question, PE, how many Kingsett (proposed) projects have been built in a substantially similar manner to their initial approval by Kingsett or another builder?
