I'm not too surprised they went for the crappiest product. Vrancor literally just goes for as cheap as can be on literally every aspect of their builds. There's sections of the tower beside this that were just never finished, and other things that have broken immediately but have never been fixed.
The only thing they fixed was the stone walkway between the sidewalks and the building likely because the city forced them too because it was becoming a tripping hazard.

Yeah those units are an absolute nightmare to work on they can be removed and replaced with a spare or replacement unit with ease but the overloads and safeties are very sensitive to any changes in water flow

Seems like furnace installation is well under way, why it's happening without any exterior cladding is beyond me

I've had to drive my folks to Juravinski Hospital recently for my Mom to get tests (so far good news), and I love the drive West down King St. with all of the new/recent/under construction towers.
Gives Hamilton bigger city vibes.
My apologies for going off topic:
Had to make a stop at Grandad's for donuts (they taste just like Tim Hortons of the late 80s, early 90s I remember as a child). I also bought some bread at Weil's bakery in Westdale.
**edit: How is Westdale faring these days? I saw a decent amount of Mac students walking around and a couple went into Weil's bakery to buy sausage rolls. Most loaves of their bread are $3.25-$4.25.
Off Concession St. I found a place to park the car across from Mountain Drive Park (how long is it closed for?) and had a nice stroll along Mountain Park Ave. Nice clear day to make out the Toronto skyline from across Lake Ontario that looks a beautiful blue, overlooking the city and a peak at the Hamilton skyline through the trees looking West.
Highly recommend going for a walk along Mountain Park Ave
My Moto phone's camera doesn't do it justice and zoomed in views give it a blocky abstract art look
