Toronto 21 Broadview | 49.12m | 15s | Streetcar | CEBRA

This one was on the agenda for this week's Council meeting with a probable settlement offer.

Councillor Fletcher had it deferred to the July meeting of Council.

The Settlement Offer noted above was accepted at the July '24 meeting of City Council...........and we missed it!

Following this BroadviewEastern project with great interest. Not much on streetcar developments website beyond initial proposal as yet

The question now will be is streetcar going to let all the planned retail sit empty likely have at edge lofts and all across their baseball place buildings? How can their leasing partner not get leases in there? Those retail spaces are begging for a grocery store or even a shoppers drug mart. The dream leasing team has really fallen behind

They know..........they've marketed it that way............and there have been talks..........they just haven't come to terms w/anyone.

That’s correct but it’s been 2+ years… and edge lofts sitting empty since the Genesis car dealer left with the exception of the coffee shop - all their spaces along the side and rear also sitting empty. They must be asking far too much to o allow businesses to come in and thrive. There should already be a grocery store and maybe even a bank here
