Hope TD will give up most of their lease at Brookfield Place when they occupy 160 Front. That way they'll lose that awful logo on the spire of the former Canada Trust Tower, one of the few spires we have, and that building can truly shine as a post-modern gem.

I like that big TD logo there and think it enhances the spire on Brookfield Place. To each their own though.

I disagree with them calling it a vertical city, as that would require a residential component. And a substantial one at that, IMO.

Perhaps it's fitting, given the unaffordability of the city, there will be no residents in the city.

Didn't Know: it was interesting to learn that Gordon Gill (the GG in AS+GG) grew up in Toronto and still has his family here. In the link he jokes about the pressure to do well ;-).
