Quite a popular one, too! Tons of foot traffic there over the 10 or so years it was open.
One of the very few Starbucks in the Bloor/Yorkville area where you can sit in the winter - lovely patio in the warmer months. I used to like the quieter Starbucks tucked behind the Church of the Redeemer at Bloor & Avenue, but that's gone along with all the other businesses (Prairie Girls Cupcakes, maybe some others) and the space is still vacant nearly 3 years later.I was never quite sure why they decided to close it but I can only assume it had something to do with the Starbucks in Longos and Union Station.
That said, this should be very much useful to the area.
Fun fact: The busiest Starbucks in Canada is located across from St George Station at 1 Bedford Road.
