This is still Council approved (for zoning), it is still SPA pending, there are still no permit applications. So, no, no news.

It's interesting as the project website hasn't had an update in 2 years.
I wonder if they'll look to remove the office portion of the proposal and make it purely residential at this point.
But I agree with you, I've always been found of this office building. With that said, the proposal as it is, does replace most of the office space with a lot of added density so that's something I could get behind.

For now it's just a zoning exercise among the 66 storey, 55 Yonge and the 75 storey, 320 Front in H&R's portfolio. This office tower, as of this moment, isn't destined to be demolished. These approve plans will increases property values regardless if the plan is to build or not.

Yeah, there's no movement on any of these. So I don't think we'll actually see demolition and construction anytime soon.
So many buildings that are proposed to go.

Designs like 55 Yonge and 145 Wellington should get built, but not where 145 Wellington is. I don't want to lose the current building!

I'm not privy to what Adrian may or may not do there, but fundamentally, if / when it does go forward, it'll be TFAI or Arcadis' responsibility to execute on the fantasy pictures that Alex and his team have dreamed up.
