Quartet of 35-Storey Rental Towers Proposed West of Pickering GO | UrbanToronto

An application has been submitted for 1095 Kingston Road in Pickering, proposing four 35-storey residential towers. Designed by BDP Quadrangle for Resident, the development would introduce 1,492 rental units along the future Durham-Scarborough BRT corridor, west of the Pickering GO station.

Kingston Road soon won’t be able to handle many more cars. The street grid thru the HomeDepot plaza won’t be complete for 15+ years. Walnut Lane should be opening within the next year or 2 but even that won’t be able to handle the traffic going to the 401 ramp at Liverpool.

Wayyy back in the day Pickering had an idea for on and off ramps at Dixie (westbound only). Maybe that needs to be re-visited.
